Ad-ID Eliminates Prefix Activation Fee

The industry is a beneficiary of Ad-ID’s success!

Effective December 18, 2017, Ad-ID eliminated the $400 one-time prefix activation fee. This change reflected the company’s ongoing effort to make Ad-ID accessible and affordable to everyone in the industry and supports Ad-ID’s mission to be the industry standard identifier. Going forward, any four-character prefix will be activated free of charge.

As Ad-ID enters its 15th year, the company is pleased to let you know that over 2.6 million advertising assets have been registered since 2003, and Ad-ID usage has grown to over 3,700 advertisers. This growth has allowed Ad-ID to remove the prefix activation fee. There will be no changes to the code costs in 2018. We hope this change makes Ad-ID more accessible.
